This 3-day refund window applies to:
- Initial subscription purchases
- Subscription upgrades (refund limited to the difference in price)
- One-time purchases
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our customer support team at support@videosimplify.com with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- The reason for requesting a refund
- Order or transaction ID (if available)
We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days of receiving them. Once approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your payment provider.
Refund Eligibility
The following conditions must be met to be eligible for a refund:
- The refund request is made within 3 days of the initial purchase
- Your account is in good standing and has not violated our Terms of Service
- You have not previously received a refund for the same service
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:

- Subscription fees for months already used (partial or full)
- Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
- Subscription cancellations (canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not generate a refund for the current billing period)
- Monthly subscription fees after the initial 3-day period
- Promotional offers, discounts, or special pricing

It is the user's obligation to familiarize themselves with and adhere to their institution's rules concerning the recording and sharing of lectures or educational content.
Respecting Copyright Law
Users must not record or upload content that is protected by copyright unless they have obtained explicit permission from the copyright holder. This includes materials like texts, images, videos, or other forms of copyrighted media.
Respect for Privacy and Confidentiality
Users are prohibited from recording or sharing sensitive conversations or information that would violate privacy laws. This includes confidential communications, private discussions, or any other exchanges legally protected from unauthorized recording or disclosure.
VideoSimplify does not condone and cannot be held liable for any unauthorized recording or uploading of content that violates institutional policies, copyright law, or privacy laws. Users are fully responsible for ensuring their activities on the platform comply with all applicable legal and institutional requirements.

License to View VideoSimplify Content
Provided you comply with our Terms of Use, VideoSimplify grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, and non-transferable license to access and use the content on our platform. This is strictly for personal, non-commercial, educational use.
You agree not to copy, record, or access content via automated means (e.g., scripts, bots, or data extraction tools) unless authorized by VideoSimplify in writing.
If you purchase a subscription or license to access VideoSimplify content, it is for individual use only and cannot be shared with others. We may enforce reasonable limits on access to protect against unauthorized use, including limits on time, device usage, or the quantity of materials accessed.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe your situation warrants special consideration outside of this policy, please contact our customer support team. We will review such requests on a case-by-case basis.
Automatic Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. To cancel your subscription:
- Log in to your VideoSimplify account
- Go to Account Settings
- Select Subscription
- Click on Cancel Subscription
Canceling your subscription will stop future billing but will not generate a refund for the current billing period. Your access to the service will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Payment Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 7-14 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
